Probes in the pile. Data in the cloud. Reports in your inbox.
Every Reotemp probe carries its own cellular connection. Push it into the pile or install it on the tank car and it starts reporting. No hub, no wiring, no IT ticket, no software to install.

Three parts. Nothing to install on site.
1. Wireless probes
Heavy-duty stems with a corrosion-proof sheath and up to 4 sensors (compost) or 3 sensors (railcar) at set depths. Sealed, modular and made in the USA.
2. Built-in cellular
Each probe reports on its own over the cellular network, the way modern monitoring is done. No gateway, no antenna, no line of sight, no single point of failure.
3. Cloud software
Live dashboards, text and email alerts, batch tracking and automatically generated reports on any phone, tablet or computer. Software tour
Everything the probe does for you
The features on the datasheet, and what each one means on the pad or in the yard.
Connects on its own
Every probe has its own cellular link. There is no hub to power, no antenna to mount high and no IT department to ask. If one probe goes down, the others keep reporting.
Corrosion-proof sheath
A proprietary sheath proven in the most corrosive biosolids while still transferring heat accurately. Some sites are running probes installed more than 15 years ago.
Two year battery, replacements included
Replacement batteries ship to you as part of the subscription and swap in the field with quick-disconnect connectors. No pulling probes to recharge.
Stores readings when signal drops
Readings are kept on the probe and sent as soon as the connection returns, so a dead zone never leaves a gap in your PFRP record.
A reading every 15 minutes
Probes record every 15 minutes and transmit about hourly, more often when temperatures are changing quickly. Accuracy is plus or minus 2 F.
Up to 4 sensors per probe
A sensor at the tip and up to three more along the stem give a temperature profile through the pile. Railcar probes carry up to 3 for top, middle and bottom.
Text and email alerts
Set high and low thresholds per pile or per material. You hear about a stalled pile or an overheating load the moment it happens.
Automated reporting
PFRP and VAR reports for compost, batch temperature logs for railcars, generated automatically when a batch ends. Two years of history, exportable to Excel or CSV.
60 inch locator flag
A bright orange flag keeps every probe visible before a turn, in low light and in high moisture.
Made in the USA under ISO 9001
Designed and built in San Diego, California, with 5 to 7 day standard lead times and a US-based team on the phone.
